I have been saying this for years. Wrote a blog post about it not long ago. Writing is not about rules; It is not a 12-step program to publishing; It is not a formula. It’s is a mysterious art that cannot be contained. Can you imagine someone saying to Picasso…Make your people look more real, not like cubes! Norman Mailer called it “the spooky art.” There’s a reason for that.
