OMG! Reading this was like coming home! A few years ago, I was the writer-in-residence at the Jack Kerouac Project and stayed at his home in College Park for three months. It was a glorious summer of writing and thinking and going to Downtown Credo. Seeing that photo brought back such memories. There was a barista there, and I feel terrible I can not remember his name, who made a “goodbye latte” when my time was up and I was coming back to Chicago, producing latte art that was ocean waves with the sun and a seagull above. Amazing. And the coffee and the vibe were wonderful every day I was there. Thanks for the wonderful memory.
